Creating a new site

Note

Before creating a new site, ensure the following has been created:

  • site contact - user who will receive alerts for all storage units at this site.

  • location of site

  1. In the Clinical Storage Monitoring page, click Create and click New site.

    The New site pop-up appears.

  2. To set the name for the site, in the Site Name box, type the site name.

  3. To set the site ID for the site, in the Site ID box, type the site ID.

  4. To set the location of the site, in the Location list, click to select the site location.

  5. To assign a contact for the site, in the Assign contact list, click to select the contact.

  6. Click Create.

    The New site created confirmation dialog appears.

  7. If you want to add a storage unit to the site, click +Add storage.
